And we’re starting this conversation right from the top - with our CEO 🤘

 

Network modernization was defined as a top priority at the very beginning of 2025, and the resources invested in developing the network have since tripled. In April, Rostom Talakhadze became the CEO of Cellfie Mobile and took personal charge of this entire process. That’s exactly why we decided to start talking about nonstop network upgrades through him.

 

 

It took us exactly 2 minutes to convince Rostom to make this announcement straight from the cell tower! Considering the results we’ve achieved this year, climbing the tower was probably the easiest part.
Since April, we have added 132 new stations across Georgia and fully modernized 85 more, allowing us to increase internet speeds by 25% and boost network capacity by 32%. 

 

 

These results are the outcome of the dedication and commitment of every Cellfie team member. But the greatest contribution comes from those working on the frontlines - the people who are ready, when needed, to make their way on horseback to a base station at 2,800 meters above sea level; to climb through heavy snowfall to repair damaged cables with equipment strapped to their backs; and to walk dozens of kilometers for weeks so that we could launch the country’s first solar-powered base station.

 

Alongside nonstop network upgrades, 2025 has also been a landmark year:

● We became a partner of Vodafone Group, which connects 300 million users across Europe and Africa. With their expertise, we launched the first loyalty platform in the Georgian telco industry.

● We began a partnership with Airalo, allowing tourists to easily connect to the Cellfie network - no registration required.

● We launched a nationwide 2G phone replacement program, through which 70,000 customers will receive brand-new devices and gain access to mobile internet.

● We introduced Travel eSIM, enabling any user from any network to stay connected abroad with just a few taps and enjoy reliable mobile internet.

 

And the results didn’t take long! Our customer satisfaction index increased by 15 points year-over-year, reaching a record-high level.

 

Following these impressive achievements, Cellfie was also awarded Georgia’s fastest-growing telecom operator this autumn.

 

But this is only the beginning!
