What is VoLTE?
VoLTE, or Voice over LTE, is a technology that allows you to make voice calls over LTE/5G network, giving you a whole new experience.
Advantages of VoLTE are:
- HD quality sound: during a call, the sound is much clearer, cleaner and more stable, with a background noise almost cancelled.
- Fast connection: connection to a recipient is instant, made in the shortest time possible
- Simultaneous use of voice and Internet: you can use high-speed mobile Internet in parallel with the call without any restrictions.

To use VoLTE:
- Your phone must have an appropriate support
- Access to VoLTE service must be enabled by the smartphone manufacturer
- You must have a Cellfie’s 4G SIM card
- You must be in a 4G/5G coverage area

On iPhone:
1) Open “Settings” and select “Mobile Service”.
2) Navigate to your SIM cards and then select “Voice & Data”.
3) Turn on (move the button) next to VoLTE
4) If you are using multiple SIM cards, enter the corresponding section of each SIM card separately and repeat steps 2 and 3.
On Android:
1) Enter into Settings on your phone
2) Click on the “Mobile Networks”. This section can also be called “Cellular” or “Internet”.
3) Find the VoLTE item and activate it.
No, a call with VoLTE technology is charged the same as a regular voice call, according to the tariff/package active on your number.
Apart from the fact that the connection with the recipient will be instant and the sound quality during the call will be much better than before, the 5G/4G/LTE network indicator on the phone screen will remain unchanged and will not switch to 3G. You will be able to use mobile Internet in parallel without any restrictions.
