It has become known where Cellfie will launch 5G services in Georgia for the first time. This December, with the onset of the winter season, 5G will be available in Bakuriani and Gudauri. Cellfie 5G will gradually cover other locations in Georgia, including Tbilisi.

Cellfie is the only Georgian mobile operator which has obtained  a license for 5G deployment at the announced auction. In addition, Cellfie will be the first company in the region to implement a 5G network.

The new technology features much faster internet speeds than 4G and virtually eliminates latency, opening up new limitless opportunities for various sectors of the economy, including transportation, healthcare, manufacturing and more. As required by the Communications Commission, the 5G network is being built to EU regulations, which determines the security of the network.
