Cellfie Supports the XII Social Entrepreneurship Forum

Cellfie Mobile, a Georgian mobile operator serving 1.45 million customers across Georgia, supported the XII Social Entrepreneurship Forum in Georgia as part of corporate sustainability. The forum was organized by SEA on November 8.

More than 100 businesses and private organizations participated in this year's forum. The event brought together several issues and formats, and the main topic of discussion was the exchange of practical and theoretical experiences of the past years and raising awareness of the activities of the Social Enterprise Alliance. The audience also heard a discussion on the topic - what is artificial intelligence and how to use it to improve performance. In a panel discussion format, key actors in the field and event participants had the opportunity to talk about the social enterprise ecosystem. The culmination of the forum was the identification of the Social Enterprise of the Year 2023. The title of social enterprise was won by Ikorta.

“In the 21st  century, when we are witnessing a number of challenges in the social sphere, one of the most effective and, most importantly, sustainable ways to improve the well-being of society is the creation of social enterprises. Cellfie's corporate sustainability focus also involves supporting those initiatives that have the potential to address and improve social issues in the long term. It was natural for us to support an event aimed at developing social entrepreneurship in Georgia,” they say in Cellfie Mobile.

Since 2012, the Social Entrepreneurship Forum has been held annually with the financial support of the European Union. The aim of the forum is to popularize the concept of social entrepreneurship and strengthen business ties between social entrepreneurs and representatives of various sectors of the economy.
