Cellfie Mobile continues to upgrade its network on an ongoing basis, ensuring fast, high-quality connectivity even as usage increases.
In July, five base stations were added to Cellfie’s network in Tbilisi, Batumi and Khelvachauri. In addition, existing stations were enhanced across 92 locations, with upgrades carried out in Tbilisi, Batumi, Rustavi, Poti, Kutaisi, Kopitnari and settlements across Adjara. As a result:
- Across the network, 5G file upload speed increased by nearly 16%, enabling you to share photos, videos and other large files much faster;
- In Tbilisi, file download and upload speeds increased, with 5G upload speed rising by 17.4%;
- In Rustavi, network response time improved by nearly a quarter (24%), while 5G upload speed increased by almost 15%;
- In Batumi, 4G network response time improved by 15.3%, while average 5G upload speed doubled;
- Compared with the May–June average, the 4G network carried 7.2% more internet traffic and served 4.4% more active users. Despite the increased load, network quality remained stable overall and improved in a number of cities and regions;
- File download speeds increased in Guria, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Kutaisi, Adjara, Samegrelo, Shida Kartli and Imereti;
- The strongest growth in 5G file download speeds was recorded in Adjara and Mtskheta-Mtianeti.
